Caryl Churchill's Top Girls

Few Indians have heard of Caryl Churchill, the most respected woman dramatist in the UK. Jadavpur University's Department of English stages her contemporary classic, Top Girls, as its annual production directed by Ananda Lal. Written in 1982, during Thatcherite times, it remains relevant and Lal has Indianised it.
