STUDENT SPEAK

The whole of India will be celebrating Republic day on
January 26, 2006. I feel proud to be an Indian because I think India is the only country in the world in which every state has its own language, its own dances and its own festivals.

I also think that India is the most beautiful country in the world. My grandfather tells me at his times there were hardly any TV channels to watch. And now there are so many TV channels to watch, like Cartoon Network, Disney Channel and Pogo.

Some very interesting channels show things about plants, animals and the universe. These channels are History channel, Discovery channel and Geographic channel.

I see my country progressing in every field, and I feel very, very happy. I feel very happy that on January 26, 2006 I will be performing a solo dance in my school. On this day I wish every Indian a very happy Republic Day.
